Event: Dancerace headlines Receivable Finance Connect conference

Dancerace is proud to act as headline sponsor for the inaugural Receivables Finance Connect conference in London later this month – an important new forum for the UK IF community.

This one-day event will run alongside the popular Asset Finance Connect conference at London’s County Hall on Tuesday 25 November.

Time for change

Receivables Finance Connect comes at a pivotal moment for the UK invoice finance sector. After ten years of flat growth, banks and lenders agree that the IF industry must adapt and innovate to remain relevant over the coming decade.

At our recent dinner with 20 industry CEOs – co-hosted with Asset Finance Connect – leaders identified three shared priorities to kickstart growth across our industry:

  • Strengthening the community of UK IF lenders and practitioners
  • Simplifying invoice finance products to make them more customer-focused
  • Building new talent pipelines and routes to market

These themes will form the agenda for November’s conference, which will include a mixture of Q&A and roundtable sessions on marketing, diversity, technology and product innovation.

Committed to community

At the event, Dancerace CEO Elliot Avison will present his analysis of the technological opportunities available to IF lenders and the obstacles that prevent innovation within organisations.

Elliot will make the case for the creation of a new technology working group for the IF sector, to enable lenders to share and build consensus around the technological developments that technology firms must deliver to grow the industry.

Community initiatives like these are the heart of Receivables Finance Connect, which is focused on delivering action – not just talk. November’s conference will seed the creation of the new Receivables Finance Connect professional community, led by Mike Symes.

“Asset Finance Connect’s unique approach to community-building and industry transformation is what the UK receivable finance industry needs right now. We know from our work at Dancerace what can happen when experienced, knowledgeable and committed lending professionals come together to share ideas, in the spirit of change,” says Dancerace CEO Elliot Avison.

“We’re very happy to be involved with Receivables Finance Connect, and we encourage everyone involved in invoice finance to join the conversation – especially those individuals who don’t typically attend events. Together, we’ll deliver the change our sector needs.”
