News: Dancerace crowned ‘world-class’ employer by Best Companies
Employee engagement specialists Best Companies have recognised Dancerace as a ‘world-class’ employer – the highest-possible rating in the scheme.
Developed in collaboration with the UK Department of Trade & Industry and University of Plymouth, Best Companies’ ‘b-Heard’ survey asks employees to rate their employer across 24 aspects of their employee experience, including wellbeing, pay and benefits, personal growth, leadership and more.
Companies are awarded one of four accreditations, with Dancerace earning three stars in its latest survey – up from two last year. According to Best Companies, “a three-star accreditation is our highest standard of workplace engagement, representing organisations that truly excel. Awarded to organisations with a BCI score of 738 or higher, the three-star accreditation reflects 'world class' levels of workplace engagement.”
The award is a validation of Dancerace’s close attention to employees’ wellbeing and growth, says People & Culture Manager Karen Everett:
“At Dancerace, we’re deeply committed to building a positive work culture that thrives on engagement and regular feedback with our exceptional team. We believe that a supportive and inclusive environment not only promotes employee well-being; it also enhances productivity, morale, and overall job satisfaction.
“Understanding the unique challenges that remote and hybrid working create, we continuously strive to strengthen communication and collaboration, to ensure every team member feels connected and valued, regardless of their location.”
The award follows five years of significant growth for Dancerace. With hybrid teams across Europe and Australasia, the company has tripled its headcount since 2020 and continues to expand following its acquisition by US firm Norland Capital in July 2024.
